Climbing is a sport that we at Redpoint know quickly captures childrens’ interest, while raising self esteem, building confidence as an individual, and helping them to develop teamwork and social interaction skills.

Our lessons are carefully structured to take students through warming up and understanding safety to the necessary ropework skills and climbing techniques. This encourages students to set targets and achieve physically and mentally in a safe, supportive environment.

Equally suitable for children of all abilities/fitness etc. and easily adaptable to children with special educational needs. Climbing can be a passport to releasing a young persons potential.

We have a fantastic range of climbing areas featuring a variety of different angles and varying degrees of difficulty, making Redpoint Worcester Climbing Centre an ideal venue for everyone.

Our staff are friendly, professional and experienced at communicating with their groups; working equally well with students of all abilities and levels of confidence to ensure that everyone gets the most from their experience.

All Redpoint instructors are fully qualified, have CRB/DBS checks and follow our comprehensive Child & Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding policy.

    • A great way to exercise that’s exciting and fun
    • Sessions supervised by qualified climbing instructors
    • Lots of our young climbers follow the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS)
    • Great for confidence, concentration and determination
    • Development of balance and coordination
  • We recommend comfy clothing, such as joggers and a baggy top. Avoid clothing such as skirts (remember we’re climbing upwards). Also sturdy footwear is essential. Footwear e.g. sandals and crocs would be inappropriate. We do have a small selection of hire shoes on site for little feet.

  • We ask that Guardians stay on site for the duration of the sessions. After all who wouldn’t want to watch such spectacular achievements.
