Bouldering can be the perfect way to enter the climbing world. This discipline doesn’t require the technical rope skills required for top-rope or sport climbing, instead it challenges you in a completely different way. If you’re interested in bouldering, pop by, we will listen to your needs and walk you through the details, and before you know it you’ll be hooked!.

  • If you have friend who is an experienced climber they can bring you. If not, you can book a private lesson or join one of our Taster, or Learn to Climb courses. Our instructors will guide you through your first experience of rock climbing and let you know where to go from there.

  • Yes, if you’re new to climbing and looking to book an instructor or join one of our Taster or Learn to Climb courses you need to book and pay in advance.

  • Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. It’s also a good idea to have an extra layer for wearing when you’re not climbing. If you wear rings we have to ask you to take them off if possible. If not we will have to tape over them. We provide climbing shoes for you.

  • We have lots of people who say this. It is a very natural feeling. Your instructor will take things slowly and you will be amazed at what you can do by the end of your session.

  • We have regular group Learn to Climb courses. They are a great way to get started and to meet others who also need a climbing partner.

Alternatively, we have 500m2 of bouldering that is sure to keep you busy.  All you have to do is complete a bouldering induction with one of our Redpoint Worcester staff members and away you go!
